Dr. Yifang Zhu is Professor of Environmental Health Sciences at the Fielding School of Public Health at UCLA. Her primary research interests lie in climate change, air pollution, exposure assessment, and aerosol science and technology. Her current research focuses on measuring and modeling air pollutant emissions, transport, and transformation as well as assessing and mitigating the associated adverse health effects. 

Her scholarship has been recognized by several awards, including the Rosenblith New Investigator Award from the Health Effects Institute, the CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation, and the Haagen-Smit Prize from Atmospheric Environment. She also serves as a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Aerosol Science, Aerosol and Air Quality Research, and Atmospheric Environment. 

Dr. Zhu holds a BS in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences the University of California, Los Angeles Fielding School of Public Health, CA.
