On July 10, HEI Energy hosted a webinar exploring how groundwater modeling can help identify residential well water vulnerability to contamination from unconventional oil and gas development in the Marcellus Region.

The session presented key findings from the supporting HEI study, A Groundwater Modeling Framework for Elucidating Community Exposures Across the Marcellus Region to Contamination Associated with Oil and Gas Development led by James Saiers and Mario Soriano who developed a predictive framework for assessing community exposure risks based on regional groundwater modeling.
