Community Open House: Air & Noise Monitoring near Oil & Gas Well Sites in Carlsbad & Loving, New Mexico.

Dr. Meredith Franklin and her research team hosted an in-person open house to learn more about independent research on air quality and noise around oil and gas well sites in the New Mexico and Texas regions of the Permian Basin. The research is being funded by Health Effects Institute Energy (HEI Energy) and is underway through 2024. The Open House provided an opportunity to:

  • Learn about the research and its purpose.
  • Meet the research team.
  • Ask questions about the research.
  • Learn about ways that you can engage and stay up to date.
